Dad Crowned Rib King!

This year’s king of the annual Brainard 300 rib-off was crowned yesterday!

There were five entrants, 12 full slabs, and about 40 happy judges. They all were quite good, but my dad's were the best.

Call it beginner’s luck, but I know that surefire recipe Dave K. gave him last week had a lot to do with him winning. Glad dad snuck me a bite while mom wasn’t look’n. You know Dad, a sip of your Old Style would have helped it go down even easier! -Ben
