8 is Great

Ben turned 8 months today and woke up to his first snowfall - woo hoo!

So of course I had to haul him outside...

Here's 8 things about Ben at 8 months:

1. Loves his furry polka dot blanket (thanks Auntie Aimee).
2. Loves his cousin – we all know Ben doesn’t dish out the smiles as freely as some, but Ellie got a lot of them over Thanksgiving.
3. Has a sweet little habit of gently patting my neck and hair as I carry him around the house.
4. Expresses excitement by crazily flapping his arms like he’s about to take flight. We call this Pterodactyl 2.0. Many of you witnessed Pterodactyl 1.0, aka the SCREECH. We are obviously pleased with the evolution.
5. No longer cries when we put him on his tummy. Instead just flips over almost immediately, gives a big grin, and that’s that.
6. Can swipe Dave’s glasses off in about half a second, every time.
7. Is no longer terrified of that bobbling penguin I mentioned in 7 things at 7 months. Tough guy.
8. Is clearly the cutest baby on the planet (well, tied with our reader babies, of course).
